Some of the amazing comments made over the years.
“If the rating goes from 1-5 they get a 6!!!”
I have been enjoying this place since they opened. Growing up in the gourmet food business I consider myself to be food savvy. I really appreciate dining out when all of the "must haves" on my list are taken care of! Café Forte fills the bill. The service is great along with the food, prices are fair, nice ambiance AND the music is well picked and I can converse with my partner without having to shout. With so many restaurants in Phoenix becoming so loud we have crossed many off our list because of the noise even though we enjoy the food and service. This place has been consistent from day one and I have never had anything on the menu that I didn't like!
“Excellent food. Wonderful location. Varied menu”
Cafe Forte is a small intimate restaurant island, surrounded by art galleries. The menu even has vegan entrees. The horseradish crusted salmon and chicken breast with smashed sweet potatoes are my favorite dinners, but every dish is excellent
The homemade desserts are better than your grandmother made. The apple pie is so good you will be tempted to buy more for home.
'Weather permitting the side walk tables are reminiscent of Europe".
"Delicious Food”
Cafe Forte is the perfect complement to the ambiance of Old Town Scottsdale. Main Street in Scottsdale is a sensory experience. Cafe Forte provides a burst of fresh and healthy flavors for the taste buds. The attention to detail in the sourcing of their ingredients is obvious. The artistic presentation of each course is masterful. The carefully selected mix of music and the original art on the walls is consistent with the experience of the art district in Scottsdale. Ladies lunch or romantic dinner, this restaurant inspires return visits.
“Incredibly Charming Place for hosting a party (*we did a rehearsal dinner there)”
We had our rehearsal dinner at this adorable restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale and it was simply AWESOME. We were thrilled with how everything went and our guests were unanimous in saying it was the most wonderful rehearsal dinner they'd attended. The restaurant is inherently charming and decorated beautifully, so there was not much we needed to add. (it has art and paintings and beautiful faux painted walls . . . tables with fresh white linens always. . . it's a place that exudes happiness, that's why I chose it). We had 50 guests, so we had the whole place to ourselves. The ladies (owners) of the Cafe arranged the tables beautifully to accommodate a great flow and really super seating possibilities (some of the tables seated 8, some seated 6, some 4 . . . it was a great mix). We had a personalized menu, with cheese and appetizers and salads as the beginning course, then some chicken, salmon, and vegetarian dishes as the main course. It was all delicious. The most incredible part (from the culinary standpoint) was that the desserts were just as delicious as the food! These ladies have incredible pastries (their crust for their tarts and pies is delectable!) The best part was how EASY it was. We just showed up. The service was so good and kind and gracious. Not stuffy . . . simply wonderful. The cost was reasonable . . . I couldn't believe how lucky I got to find something where everything fell into place so beautifully.
